The Secret to Taking Your Business to the Next Level
Believe That Good Things Are Coming Your Way
As an entrepreneur, you’re constantly battling a healthy balance of risk. But with that risk can come fear. The presence of fear can oftentimes create a scarcity mindset. A mindset that when it goes unchecked, can cause us to second guess ourselves.
In order to truly get out of your own way, you have to trust that good things are coming your way. You may not know when and how, but you know things will work out how they are supposed to. The hardest part is not having a definite answer of when it’s all going to work out. So that’s where truly believing that if you’re putting in the work, that this will in fact pay off.
Think and Speak As If You Already Have Them
The next tactic to taking your business to the next level is to think and speak as if you already have the thing that you want. One of my goals is to run a multimillion dollar business. The reason I want to run a business like that is that when I get to that point, I know I will be inspiring, leading and changing the lives of women across the country. That right there is my why. I want to make an impact, and want every woman to know that they can have a life that they design.
So in order for me to get to that goal, I have to start thinking and speaking like I’m a seven-figure business owner now. This tactic leads me to my next one!
Take Actions As If You Already Have the Thing You Want
After you start speaking and thinking like you’ve already accomplished your big goal, you also have to take action. If you want to have a thriving business, you also have to have the confidence and decisiveness of a thriving business owner. Have you ever heard of the phrase, “Dress for the job you want, not the job you have?” The same concept applies to your business.
You have to ask yourself these questions: would my future self be doing what I’m doing right now? Is what I’m doing fueling my path towards my goal? What can I do now to prepare myself and my mind to be successful when my business reaches the next level? We have to take action towards our goals as if we’re already there.
Use Inspiration to Remind and Motivate You Daily
I’ve chatted about the power of manifestation before, but I can’t rave about it enough. Our minds are extremely powerful! They’re always working in the background, whether we realize it or not. When we use things to help inspire us, remind us and keep us focused, this not only helps us stay motivated, but it trains your mind to create that reality.
Your mind mirrors what it sees, hears and learns. If we’re a collection of the things that our mind absorbs, then ask yourself what type of content are you consuming? How can you help nourish and shape your reality to be one of your making?
Change Your Thought Patterns
We have the capability to tell ourselves a whole lot of lies, and then believe that they’re fact. So often we can let a thought rule our mind which then creates a feeling. Then that feeling creates an action which usually rules your day, a week or sometimes longer than that.
But what if we changed our thought patterns? What if we let that first negative thought pass? What if we sit with it, acknowledge it and then choose a different thought? Mindset is such a big part of who we are as entrepreneurs. Our mind is the creation of our business and our reality. The more we work to train our mind, the same way you train for a marathon, the easier it will be to create the reality we want.
