Did you set goals for yourself at the beginning of this year? Was there enough fire in your soul to conquer those goals to last you until now? Today we’re doing a mid-year check-in and planning for Q3 and Q4. That way, we revisit our goals and see if there are any areas we can improve to finish the last half of the year strong. Every year, I set goals around five areas in my life: marriage, finances, family, business, and personal pillars. I’m diving into each one to discuss where I’m at with my goals and encourage you to revisit yours.

With each new year, I’m sure you hear talk about New Year’s goal setting. And while I love the possibility that a new year brings, I also believe that a year is what you make of it. As an Enneagram 3, I naturally love writing out what I want to accomplish for the year ahead. But I also know that goals without action are merely wishes. That’s exactly why I wanted to record an episode about how to set effective goals.
I like to think of the New Year as a clean slate. It’s kinda like staring off a mountain into a sea of trees. You aren’t exactly sure what lies ahead. But that feeling of possibility is the perfect combination of scary and exciting and ignites a fire within me. Do you feel the same way? The new year also brings the perfect time to reflect and look back on all that has happened over the last 12 months. We can get so caught up in the day-to-day of things that it can be hard to see growth and change in the moment. But looking back gives us perspective. On today’s episode, I share a recap of 2021, plus my vision for 2022.
