Focused Fifteen Series Recap

Alignment and Leaning Into Your Intuition

APPLE PODCASTS | SPOTIFY | STITCHER

I recently took a turn down a road I’ve never driven. Though I had an idea, I wasn’t sure where it would come out. I decided to follow my intuition, trust my gut and low and behold, I ended up exactly where I needed to be.

In business, sometimes we have to take a turn that seems risky, but in the end we end up exactly where we’re meant to go. We can always course correct and turn back around. If we don’t take risks, we’ll always be on the same linear path. If we take the road we’ve never been down and go where we’ve never gone before, opportunities are endless.

Niching Down in Your Business

APPLE PODCASTS | SPOTIFY | STITCHER

In this episode, I talk about the power of niching down in your business, focusing on one specific thing and going all in. When you get really good at your area of expertise, you become known for it.

Amazon is a perfect example of the power of niching down. When I was in college, Amazon was the go-to spot for textbooks. They became a powerhouse book delivery service. Once they built their name and reputation, they expanded into what they’ve become today.

Their concept can be applied in everyday life. If we focus on one thing, we get REALLY good at it. We can’t learn five hobbies at once, split our time among them and expect to be AWESOME at them all. Bringing that in to the business world, we feel like if we niche down, we’re saying “no” to all of the opportunities out there. When in reality what we’re doing is proving that we’re an expert in a certain area, which enables others to spread your name widely.

How to Massively Scale a Service-Based Business

APPLE PODCASTS | SPOTIFY | STITCHER

I’m sharing the top three things that have played a major role in scaling my service-based business extremely fast.

  1. The customer is always right
  2. Communication is key
  3. You are only as good as your weakest link

We will also break down an unpopular opinion about trading time for money, creating digital offers and more.

The Ins and Outs of Hiring Team Members

APPLE PODCASTS | SPOTIFY | STITCHER

When we are growing our businesses, it becomes essential to hire a team. With that comes a multitude of questions.

  • How do you know when you’re ready to hire?
  • How do you find good people?
  • How much you can pay them?
  • Can I even afford to pay them?
  • Will I ever find someone who cares as much about my business as I do?

I’ll cover this, and more, in this Focused Fifteen episode.
